Team/Project Acculitics^®  is the tactical alternative to team building.

Team/Project Acculitics is a new method for improving the performance and predictability of project teams. Developed by CompanySmith, Team/Project Acculitics uses the team’s plan and organization to derive metrics that express the requirements for team interaction in support of successfully implementing its plan and a short survey to measure current project teamwork. These two metrics are used in conjunction with CompanySmith’s extensive experience in project management and team dynamics to objectively highlight the areas where the current project plan and team operation provide the greatest opportunities for improvement.

Teams that are experiencing issues are often challenged to meet their schedules and commitments and their members often feel that they “don’t have time” for team building. Team/Project Acculitics addresses that concern by being a lower-cost and tactical alternative to traditional team building. For high-tech teams, it is as little as half the total cost and uses a fifth of the project-team time of traditional facilitated teambuilding – typically only thirty minutes of team members' time is required to gather data for the analysis.

Team Project Acculitics can pinpoint opportunities and issues in both the construction of your plan and the working relationships between team members in the specific context of that plan. It is most suited for projects that have written plans and a team that has started the project, but can also be used for projects with no apparent problems as a means of  insuring success or  pinpointing areas that may be the cause problems in the future.  It is easily applied to teams with multiple concurrent projects and is applicable to both technical and non-technical projects and teams – both co-located and distributed.
